Integrity Visual
For this assignment, you need to create some kind of visual presentation of a quote about integrity. These visuals will be displayed in the classroom all year. You may use a quote from a book, famous person, or even your parents, a favorite teacher, or another adult you respect. The question is simple: What does it mean to have integrity? So, your quotation needs to answer the question. Other than that, go out, find a quote, and have fun making your visual! J

Mini-Me Information
In class you were given a copy of a “mini-person” who looks like a blank ginger bread man. Use it to reflect you personality and the things that define who you are. You may draw and color the person; you may use pictures to complete it as a collage; you may use the computer to complete the representation of yourself — it’s your choice. After you decorate the person, please cut it out and bring it to the next class period. During class, you will introduce yourself ot the class by telling about your mini-person. Your introduction should be at least two minutes long. I will be timing you.

Introductory Information!
Supplies for 2011-2012
Supplies for this course include the following:
- Something in which you can keep all of your notes, handouts, assignments, etc. so that you do not lose them. It does not matter to me what you use, as long as you are organized and responsible for keeping up with everything. Use whatever works best for you.
- Notebook paper
- One highlighter, any color.
- Pen (most assignments must be done in pen).
- Pencil
- Spiral Notebook for journaling.
- You will need this notebook frequently, and only in class, so you will have an assigned bin to pick it up from at the beginning of class and put it back into at the end.
- Presentation folder for research paper ( you will not need this until the spring, and I will remind you.)
- 1 pkg. 3×5 note-cards ( you can buy it now, but you will not need this until the spring, and I will remind you.)
- 1 pkg.4×6 note-cards( you can buy it now, but you will not need this until the spring, and I will remind you.)
Optional Supplies- For extra credit opportunities*, you may purchase and bring to class before September 9th up to two of the following:
- Lemon Scented Clorox Wipes
- Large Facial Tissue Box
- Dry Erase Markers
- Two-Pack Paper towels.
- Washable Markers (at least the 8 count).
* These supplies are entirely optional. They are worth extra credit, but there will be an equitable amount of extra credit available for students that does not require the purchase of supplies. The student just needs to speak with me, privately, and extra credit will be assigned.
